The Moulay Abdallah sports complex (Arabic: المجمع الرياضي الامير مولاي عبد الله) is a sports stadium officially inaugurated in 1983.
Situé au sud-ouest de la ville de Rabat, et près de la périphérique autoroutière. Il appartient à la Communauté urbaine de Rabat et constitue également le domicile du club de football de l’AS FAR , ainsi que l’équipe marocaine de football.
Il a une capacité totale de 45 800 places assises dont 10 000 places couvertes ce qui en fait le principal stade du Maroc avec le stade Mohammed-V de Casablanca.
In 2000, the stadium underwent a major renovation which included, among other things, the installation of new seats. Then in 2014, the complex underwent a large-scale renovation following the 2014 Club World Cup.
It consisted of upgrading the locker rooms and media points, creating two VIP suites, installing 80 electric gates to access the stadium, changing the seats and finally installing a new pitch.
Ce stade entrait dans la candidature du Maroc pour l’organisation de la coupe du monde de football 2006 et de 2010. Il a déjà accueilli la CAN 1988 disputée au Maroc.
