The Moulay Abdallah sports complex (Arabic: المجمع الرياضي الامير مولاي عبد الله) is a sports stadium officially inaugurated in 1983.
Located southwest of the city of Rabat, and near the motorway ring road. It belongs to the Urban Community of Rabat and is also the home of the AS FAR football club, as well as the Moroccan football team.
It has a total capacity of 45,800 seats including 10,000 covered seats which makes it the main stadium in Morocco along with the Mohammed-V stadium in Casablanca.
In 2000, the stadium underwent a major renovation which included, among other things, the installation of new seats. Then in 2014, the complex underwent a large-scale renovation following the 2014 Club World Cup.
It consisted of upgrading the locker rooms and media points, creating two VIP suites, installing 80 electric gates to access the stadium, changing the seats and finally installing a new pitch.
This stadium was part of Morocco's candidacy for the organization of the 2006 and 2010 Football World Cups. It has already hosted the 1988 CAN played in Morocco.
