Mohammed V Hospital Tangier
The Mohammed V hospital occupies a prominent place within the Tangier Regional Hospital Center. It provides a full range of medical care, encompassing six surgical specialties (general surgery, urology, traumatology-orthopedics, gynecology-obstetrics, neurosurgery and pediatric surgery) as well as three medical specialties (pediatrics, nephrology-hemodialysis and intensive care-anesthesiology). In addition, it offers two dedicated services, respectively for emergencies and specialized outpatient consultations. The hospital also offers diagnostic services in medical biology, pathological anatomy cytology, and radiodiagnosis, as well as therapeutic services including an operating complex and a hemodialysis unit.

Despite a capacity of 250 beds, the hospital serves a population of more than 1,140,000 inhabitants, according to 2014 statistics, taking into account only the populations of the prefecture of Tangier-Assilah and the province of Fahs-Anjra . It is important to note that its service area for certain specialized services extends over a large part of the Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region, which has 3,157,075 inhabitants.
Regarding human resources, the establishment had 326 employees as of June 30, 2015, divided into 63 doctors, 2 pharmacists, 202 nurses and 59 managers and administrative staff.
