The Muslim world celebrates the birth of the Prophet Muhammad on the 12th day of the month of Rabi’ Al-Awwal. In Casablanca, this occasion inspired the creation of the “Layali Al Mawlid” International Festival in Casablanca, offering a family, festive and spiritual setting, bringing together stars of spiritual music as well as emerging talents accompanied by a troupe of musicians.
After starting out in aeronautical engineering, MAHER ZAIN turned to music, collaborating with renowned producer RedOne, before moving to New York to pursue his career. A return to Sweden marked a spiritual turning point where he chose to devote himself to Islamic song, leading to the release of his debut album “Thank you Allah” in 2009, which was acclaimed in the Muslim world and propelled Maher Zain to international stardom, with millions of albums sold and immense popularity in Asia, particularly in Indonesia.
